I was adopted when I was 17 months old from India and I am very blessed to be able to live an amazing healthy life. I believe that because I am so blessed, it is my job to give back and help inspire other people. I hope that I can inspire them through conceptual design that conveys strong ideas that inspire and allow people to take action and make a change. Adoption is important to me, there are so many children young and old that need loving homes, I hope my poster series inspires you to make a change and look at the world differently.
The poster engages you from beginning to end with the eye catching typography to the negative space and healthy balanced composition, and variety of creative logos, the posters will intrigue and take you on an empowering journey.
The creativity of the logos blended with the typography create an appealing design that can stand out with a strong representation adoption. I have created a lot of negative space and leveraged it to my advantage in this adoption piece in an excellent way to bring a lot of awareness to the topic and this poster series. When someone looks at my piece designed with well- composed negative space, my hope is that the viewer can effortlessly evaluate and appreciate the design and topic.
These posters are created to inspire everyone, but the target audience is loving people who want to adopt and children who need to be adopted or have been adopted. Most advertising that wants you to adopt or make a change, whether it is an animal or person, usually provides you with sad imagery that tugs at your heart strings. Although that might be empowering, I wanted to take my posters in a different direction, capturing the positivity and happiness of adoption through the bright pink, hoping to educate people on adoption through empowering and beautiful advertising.
